Clematis Cottage
Clematis Cottage is in Derriton, outside Holsworthy. It's a detached barn conversion, so you're on your own, no neighbours through the walls. The garden is private and looks out over fields.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The main room is open plan with a wood burner. There are French doors out to a decked area.
The stairs up to the bedrooms are part of the original barn, so they're a bit steep and open-tread. Just something to be aware of.
You're about half a mile from Holsworthy. There's a supermarket and shops there, plus an indoor pool and leisure centre. The village pub in Pyworthy is just over a mile away, it does food.
The coast at Bude and Widemouth Bay is about ten miles. Good for surfing and long walks on the sand. The South West Coast Path is easy to get to from there.
If you drive for about 25 minutes, you can get onto Dartmoor for walking. The Tamar Lakes are nearby for fishing or a walk around the water.
For a day out further into Cornwall, Tintagel or the Eden Project are within a 30 minute drive.
What's here: parking for a couple of cars, WiFi, a Smart TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put out a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
