Primrose Lodge is in Whimble, near Holsworthy. It's a detached lodge with a grass roof. It's quite modern. You get a view over two fishing lakes and the fields from the living area.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The whole place is on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
The living area is open plan. There's a kitchen, a dining bit, and sofas all in one room. French doors open onto a decked area. There's an enclosed garden too.
You can use the owners' land, which is about 19 acres. There are nature walks and picnic spots. There are two fishing lakes if you're into that. There's a play area for kids with a boat thing.
Holsworthy is about a mile away. It's a small town with shops, supermarkets, a pub, and a leisure centre. Bude and Widemouth Bay are about ten miles away for the beach and surfing.
For days out, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are nearby. The North Devon and Cornwall coasts are close. For walking information, the National Trust South West site is useful, and Visit Devon has general information.
What's here: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
