Bluebell Lodge is near Whimble, which is in Devon, just on the Cornwall border. It's a modern, detached lodge with a grass roof. They're eco-friendly, which is how they got that gold award from the green tourism people.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main room is open plan. Big windows and French doors that look straight out over the fishing lakes and fields. You can sit out on the deck there. We've got about 19 acres of land here for guests to use. There are nature walks, picnic spots, and two fishing lakes if you're into that. There's a play area for kids with a boat thing.
You're about a mile from Holsworthy. That's got your basics: shops, supermarkets, a couple of pubs. The coast at Bude and Widemouth Bay is about a 20 minute drive. Good for surfing and long beaches. For a day out, The Big Sheep or The Milky Way are popular with families, they're not far.
As for what's here: there's parking right outside. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust has places nearby, and the Cornwall National Landscape site has good walking info.
