Cider Cottage

Cider Cottage is on Well Farm in North Tamerton. It's north Cornwall, right on the Devon border.

It's a two-bedroom end-of-terrace cottage for up to four people. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

You walk in through a front hall into the main living space. That room is dual aspect, with a view from the back window across the fields to the village church. There's an open fireplace and an electric coal-effect stove. The kitchen area is galley style.

The stairs are cottage stairs. They're not a ladder, but they are steep and a bit tight.

It's a working farm, so you'll hear animals. There are kunekune pigs and chickens you can visit. The Tamar River is at the bottom of the farm land if you fancy a walk down. The upper reaches of the Bude Canal are a short walk away.

The cottage has its own patio garden. There's also a large communal garden area with play equipment for kids. You can bring up to two dogs. There are fields nearby to walk them.

In terms of stuff, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. We also have an electric vehicle charger and bike storage.

The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. The shop is in Holsworthy, about three miles. For a proper beach, Bude is roughly ten miles. It's good for surfing.

If you want to explore, Dartmoor is about half an hour's drive. The National Trust has a few places nearby, like Sandymouth. The Tamar Valley National Landscape site has walking ideas.
