Stonechat Barn
Stonechat Barn is in Derril, near Holsworthy. It's one of two barns here. The other one is called Nuthatch Barn. If you've got a bigger group, you can rent both together.
It's an upside-down layout. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are downstairs. Upstairs is the open-plan living area and kitchen. You get a wood burner for cooler evenings. The TV has a DVD player and there are some DVDs, books, and games there if you want them.
Your bit of garden is private and enclosed. The owners are happy for you to use their fields for a kick-about or just to let the dogs run.
It's a 4-star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It sleeps four. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
Facilities are straightforward: parking, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ.
Pyworthy village is about half a mile away and has a pub that does food. Holsworthy, about two and a half miles, has shops, a supermarket, and a leisure centre with a pool.
For a day out, Bude is about a 20-minute drive. It's got beaches, surfing, and the castle. The owners have some bodyboards you can borrow. Tamar Lakes are close by for walking, fishing, or water sports.
You're in a good spot for exploring both coasts. Cornish places like Tintagel or Padstow are within about 40 minutes. Devon places like Westward Ho! or Clovelly are a similar drive. The Eden Project is about 45 minutes away.
