Trew House is a big old farmhouse in Stratton, Cornwall. It sleeps twelve, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a four star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The house is detached, surrounded by its own garden. It's in a quiet spot but you're not far from the village. Stratton is about a quarter of a mile away. It's got a church, a shop, and a couple of pubs. Bude is two miles along the road. It's a proper seaside town with shops and places to eat.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to three. There's parking on the drive.
Inside, it's spacious. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and a TV and WiFi. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
You're about ten minutes from the coast. Widemouth Bay is a good sandy beach. The South West Coast Path is right there if you want a walk. Bude has a canal for gentler strolls and a seawater lido in the summer.
For days out, Tintagel Castle is about twenty minutes' drive. Boscastle is similar. The Eden Project is around forty minutes. Further north, the village of Clovelly is worth a visit.
