Roof Tops
This is Roof Tops. We live next door. It's a conversion we did a few years ago.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well finished. The building is old, so the ceilings are quite low in places. The stairs are a bit steep.
The living area is upstairs. We did that to make the most of the beams and the view. You can see the countryside stretching out towards Widemouth Bay. Both bedrooms have French doors that open onto the patio.
There's a patio and a small, enclosed lawn. It's private. There's parking on the drive.
Stratton is a quiet village. We've got two pubs that do good food and a post office, all about five minutes' walk away. Bude is just over a mile down the road. That's where you'll find the big sandy beaches, the sea pool, shops and places to eat.
From here you can walk onto the Southwest Coastal Path. The area is good for birdwatching. Golf courses are nearby. You can get to a lot of Cornwall and Devon from here within about half an hour.
Inside, there's a wood burner for winter, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
