Roof Tops
This place is called Roof Tops. It's in Stratton, which is a village just inland from Bude in Cornwall.
It's a converted barn. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's nice. Wood floors, granite worktops, that sort of thing.
The layout is upside down. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. That's so you get the best of the old beams and a good view over the fields towards Widemouth Bay. Both bedrooms are downstairs and each has its own shower room.
There's a private patio and a bit of a lawned garden. The bedroom doors open straight out onto the patio.
You're on the edge of the village here, so it's quiet with fields around. There are two pubs and a shop with a post office, all about five minutes walk away.
Bude is just over a mile away. That's where the beaches are, plus a sea pool, surfing, and most of the shops and restaurants. The South West Coast Path runs through there. Beach is about three miles.
For facilities, you've got parking, WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
