Headland Studio is next to our house. It's on the clifftop just south of Bude. The view is the main thing. You look straight out to sea.
It's a four star place, sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, which is handy. The sofas downstairs are leather. One of them is a sofa bed. The stairs are a bit narrow, just so you know.
You've got your own bit of garden. There's a gate from it that leads straight onto the coastal footpath. You can walk down a cliff path to Upton beach from there. It's a shingle beach with rock pools. When the tide's out, there's some sand. It's not a lifeguarded beach, but people surf there. For safer swimming, Widemouth Bay or Summerleaze in Bude are both close. They're sandy.
The walking here is good. The coast path towards Crackington Haven is very dramatic. You can just step onto it from the garden.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen area, a dining table, and the sitting area. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs.
Bude is a few minutes' drive north for shops and cafes. Widemouth Bay is south, about five minutes by car. For planning walks or trips, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful, and so is the Cornwall National Landscape page.
