The White House

The White House is here at Treskinnick Cross, near Bude. It's a modern, detached house and it sleeps six.

The layout is upside down, which some people like. All three bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with its own bathroom. Upstairs is the living room, kitchen, and dining area. That room has a good view. You can see fields rolling down to the sea on a clear day.

The place is spacious and well-equipped. It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, all that. The kitchen is new and easy to use. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but it's not fully adapted so best to check if you have specific needs.

Outside, there's a courtyard at the back with some furniture. There's also a bit of lawn on a higher level, but it's narrow. Good for sitting out.

You're about three miles from the coast, halfway between Bude and Crackington Haven. Bude has everything: shops, cafes, a sea pool. Crackington is quieter, a good cove beach. You've got Widemouth Bay, Boscastle, and Tintagel all within a fifteen or twenty minute drive. The National Trust looks after a lot of it.

There's a shop a mile away. The nearest pub and restaurant is about three miles. You can bring two dogs. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.

For planning, the Cornwall Council coastal access page is useful, and Visit Cornwall has general information.
