The Roundhouse is a detached cottage up near Crackington Haven in Cornwall. It's one of a few cottages converted from an old farm. The views from here are good, looking out over the fields to the sea.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so no queues in the morning. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main living area is open plan with a wood burner. The patio gets the sun and you can see the sea from it.
The stairs to the galleried bedroom are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but just so you know. It's a feature.
Crackington Haven is a couple of minutes drive down the hill. There's a beach, a shop, a cafe, and a pub right on the sand. Bude is about twelve miles up the coast for bigger shops and things like a surf school or an indoor pool.
You're right on the edge of National Trust land here. The coastal path is basically on the doorstep for walking. The cliffs and coves this way are quieter. For a proper day out, Tintagel and Port Isaac are within half an hour. Padstow is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
Facilities are all there: parking, washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, bedding and towels included. You can bring up to two dogs.
