The Roundhouse is in Coxford, up on the cliffs. It's a detached, converted farm building. It's open plan, with a wood burner in the living area. You get sea views from the patio.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, so that's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level, which is good if stairs are a problem.
You're right on the edge of National Trust land here. The South West Coast Path is literally on the other side of the fence. You can walk straight out onto it. The views from the cliff top are dramatic. Crackington Haven beach is a few minutes' drive down the hill. It's got a shop, a tea room, and a pub right by the sand.
For surfing, Widemouth Bay is a bit further up the coast. Bude is about twelve miles away. It's got more shops, places to eat, and a few beaches. Tintagel, Port Isaac, and Padstow are all within half an hour if you want to see the fishing villages.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. It says pets are allowed, up to two. Bedding and towels are included.
