The Shippon is in Trewint, near St Gennys. It's a barn conversion. You're three miles from the coast and it's quiet here. The views are across fields.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. The place has a four-star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are fairly steep, which is normal for these old barns.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and the usual things. You get a washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. There's a small garden with a BBQ and space to sit outside.
Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
The closest beach is Widemouth Bay, about a ten minute drive. It's sandy and good for surfing. From there, you can walk sections of the coastal path.
Bude is about fifteen minutes away. It's a small town with shops, cafes, and a sea pool. Boscastle is also close, maybe twenty minutes. It's a nice harbour to walk around.
If you want to go further, Tintagel Castle is half an hour up the coast. Padstow is about forty-five minutes. Port Isaac, where they film Doc Martin, is around forty minutes.
There's a local pub in the village, a few minutes walk away.
