The Annexe is in Coxford, Cornwall. It's on our farm, next to our farmhouse. You'll see us coming and going, but your patio and garden bit are private. The views from here are very good, out over the fields to the sea.
It's a place for two people. One bedroom upstairs, bathroom down. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and tidy, and we've tried to keep it cosy. The bed is up in a galleried bit above the living room, so the ceiling up there is lower. The stairs up to it are more like a ladder, really. You have to mind your head.
It's open-plan downstairs. Kitchen, sofa, table all in one room. There's a wood burner. We supply the first bag of logs. The WiFi usually works. You can park right outside.
We're on a working farm, so you'll hear animals and tractors sometimes. It's not loud, but it's not silent. There are other holiday cottages here too, but they're separate.
The coast path is about a ten minute walk across the field. You're right on the edge of National Trust land. Crackington Haven is a few minutes drive. Good for a surf or a pasty. There's a shop and a pub right on the beach there.
Bude is about half an hour away if you need bigger shops or a swimming pool. Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow are all within maybe forty minutes driving. The Eden Project is about an hour.
You can bring two dogs. There's an extra charge for that. They need to be kept on leads around the farm, obviously. The garden is enclosed but it's not fortress-level, so if you've a real escape artist, keep an eye on them.
