Church View is in Jacobstow, Cornwall. It's a detached house, built in the grounds of the old rectory. It looks out directly at the village church, which is a 15th century building. You can see it from most of the windows.
The house sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Some of the rooms are on the ground floor and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Inside, it's spacious. The main living area is a big kitchen, dining room and sunroom all together. That's where everyone tends to end up. There's a separate living room with a woodburner and good views. There's also a study with games and a console, which is popular. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio area and a barbecue. There's also storage for bicycles if you bring them.
Jacobstow is a quiet village. The local shop and pub are about a mile away. For a beach, Widemouth Bay is a ten minute drive. It's a big sandy beach, good for surfing. Crackington Haven is even closer, about five minutes. It's a smaller, sheltered cove with a beach cafe and a pub.
Port Isaac and Padstow are about half an hour's drive. From Padstow you can get on the Camel Trail to cycle to Wadebridge. The Eden Project and the Minack Theatre are also within an hour.
The Atlantic Highway runs nearby, so it's easy to get to places like Bude or explore further down into Cornwall.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if needed.
