Church Cottage
Church Cottage is in St Gennys. That's a small hamlet up on the cliffs, about a mile from Crackington Haven. It's detached, part of a little group of cottages right next to the old church.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms downstairs, one bathroom. There's an open plan living room upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are steep. There's a stable door at the bottom which acts as a stair gate, which is useful if you have little ones.
The front garden is enclosed. You get good views over the fields to Widemouth Bay. On a clear day you can see Lundy Island.
You can walk to Crackington Haven. It's downhill, about a mile. There's a pub, a couple of cafes, and a shop there. The beach is good for surfing. There's sand at low tide. If you don't fancy the walk, it's about five minutes in the car.
The South West Coast Path is about a fifteen minute walk from the cottage. The cliffs here are very high. The owner, who lives nearby, sometimes runs conservation walks along the coast if you're interested.
For facilities: there's parking on site, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
