Penhalt Farm Apartment
Penhalt Farm Apartment is in Poundstock, up on the cliffs above Widemouth Bay. It's a first-floor flat in the main farmhouse. The owners live on the ground floor. You go up a flight of stairs to get to it.
It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. One double, one twin, and one with bunk beds. They all look straight out to sea. The view is the main thing. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and everything works, but the decor is a bit older. It's not fancy.
The flat is on a campsite. In summer the field can be busy, but campers aren't allowed near your side, so it doesn't block the view. There's a campsite shop for basics like milk and bread.
Bude is a five minute drive. It's got supermarkets, shops, places to eat. The beach at Widemouth Bay is about two miles. For a more dramatic beach, Millook Haven or Crackington Haven are along the coast. The South West Coast Path runs right past. The climb up from Millook is steep. Cyclists know all about it.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can have one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside. The garden is enclosed, and there's a barbecue.
