Jalna

Jalna is in Stratton, Cornwall. It's a terraced house, about five hundred years old. It's right on the village green next to the church.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and full of old features, like beams in the ceilings. It's been restored but it's still an old house. The stairs are steep and narrow in places. One of the bedrooms on the top floor has very big, old roof beams.

There's a living room with a wood burner. There's also a small internal courtyard room with stone flags and a fountain. It's shady.

The village shop and post office is about twenty yards away. Two pubs are about fifty yards away, The Tree Inn and The Kings Arms. They both do food.

Bude is under two miles away. That's where the nearest beach is, with the coastal path. It's a Victorian seaside town with shops and places to eat. Widemouth Bay is about three miles further on, that's a good beach too.

Within about half an hour's drive you've got places like Tintagel Castle and Padstow. The Eden Project and Bodmin Moor are also within reach. If you've got kids, The Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks are nearby. For cycling, you can hire bikes in Wadebridge to go on the Camel Trail to Padstow.

Facilities: it's got a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Up to two dogs are allowed.
