Harrowbeard House is in Marhamchurch. We built it ourselves about fifteen years ago. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and kept to a high standard. The living room has a wood burner and big doors that open onto the patio. The view from there is over fields and you can see a bit of the sea in the distance.
The village itself is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about five minutes' walk away. The pub does food. The coast is about two and a half miles. Widemouth Bay is the main beach for swimming and surfing. Bude is just a bit further. It's got shops, places to eat, and a few other beaches.
If you want to explore, Tintagel Castle is about twenty minutes by car. Padstow is probably forty minutes, depending on traffic. The Eden Project is under an hour away. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are both within a decent drive for a day out.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance and has a walk-in shower. You can bring up to two dogs.
