Cider Barn is on our farm in Poundstock. It's one of three places here, semi-detached with the other barn. You're in a valley so it's sheltered, with fields around us. There are usually sheep in the next field.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place so it's comfortable, not basic. The conversion kept the old barn feel, so some doorways are low and the beams are there. You'll need to mind your head in a couple of spots.
You've got your own garden area with a patio. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Parking is right outside.
For the coast, it's about three miles to the north Cornwall beaches. Bude is five miles away. It's got the main shops, a few places to eat, and those big sandy beaches for surfing. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast path there.
The farm is quiet but you're not far from things. A shop is two and a half miles, a decent pub is three miles.
If you want to go further, Boscastle and Tintagel are about fifteen miles up the coast. The English Heritage site at Tintagel Castle is popular. Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor are all within an hour's drive for a different kind of walk.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and the WiFi usually works fine. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair in for you if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
