Appleloft
Appleloft is a cottage near Crackington Haven. It's down a country lane in Higher Crackington, so it's quiet.
It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. There's a double upstairs on a sort of gallery, and a twin on the ground floor. One main bathroom, and there's a small ensuite loo off the main bedroom. The upstairs has the old apple loft flooring, which is uneven in places. The stairs are steep, it's that sort of cottage.
We had the kitchen and dining area redone recently. It's not a big space but it works. There's a wood burner in the lounge. The garden's decent sized, front and back, and the drive is gated which is handy.
You're about a ten minute walk from the community shop. They do good coffee and pasties. Crackington Haven beach is a short drive, maybe five minutes. It's a good beach. Bude is about a twenty minute drive for the supermarkets and things.
It's good for walking. You can pick up the coastal path from Crackington Haven or from Boscastle. We've left a pile of walking books and maps in the cottage. Bodmin Moor is inland if you want a change from the coast.
We take one dog. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
