The place is called Sarum. It's on the outskirts of Boscastle, up on the hill. It's reverse-level, so you go in upstairs. That's where the main living space is. There are big windows that look across the valley to the sea. It's a good view.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms downstairs: two doubles, one with bunk beds, and one with a sofa bed. Two bathrooms upstairs, one has a bath, the other a big shower. The stairs are fine, normal house stairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's a decked garden and an enclosed patio. Parking for two cars on the drive. There's a detached garage about 25 metres down the lane for storing bikes or boards. You get a key for that.
The village is about a ten-minute walk downhill. Boscastle's a working harbour. It has a few shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and a cafe. The coastal path here is spectacular. The walk out to the point is one of the best.
The nearest beach for swimming is about a fifteen minute drive, depending on the tide. Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay are both good. Tintagel is ten minutes up the coast. Port Isaac is about twenty-five minutes. Padstow is maybe forty.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
For planning days out, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here, and Cornwall National Landscape has walking information.
