Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle is a barn conversion in Treligga, which is a hamlet near the north coast. It sleeps two people in one bedroom with a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean, modern, and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's fine for two.

Access is via a single-track lane. It's typical for Cornwall. You get good sea views on the way down. There's parking right outside.

The barn is all on one level and is wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp at the entrance and the shower is a walk-in. The bed is an electric one. The living space is open plan, with a kitchen at one end. It's well-equipped. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.

Outside is a private, enclosed patio area with a table and chairs. It's a good spot. You can see fields and a bit of the sea in the distance.

There's an electric vehicle charger. You need to bring your own cable. You pay for the electricity you use.

You can take two dogs. The garden is enclosed.

It's very quiet here. There are no shops or pubs in the hamlet. The nearest village with basics is about a five-minute drive. We leave a folder in the barn with all the local information.

The coast path is a short walk away. If you head north, you can walk to Tintagel in about an hour. Boscastle is a bit further. Going south, you get to Port Isaac. A small beach is about half a mile down a path.

Within a 30 minute drive you've got Tintagel Castle, Boscastle harbour, Port Isaac, and the beaches at Polzeath. Padstow is about 25 minutes. Bodmin Moor is close by for walking. The Camel Trail for cycling starts in Wadebridge.
