Haven Cottage is in Port Isaac, right in the old part of the village. It's a terraced fisherman's cottage. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The thing to know is the parking. You can't park at the door. You use the village car park, which is about a five minute walk away. You unload your things at the top of the alley, then go and park. The alley to the front door is called Squeeze Belly Alley. It's narrow, like most of them are here.
The cottage has an open fire and an Aga in the kitchen. The floors downstairs are stone flagstones. The stairs are quite steep, as you'd expect in an old cottage. The space is cosy, not huge, but it's been done up nicely.
You're about 50 yards from the harbour. There are pubs and restaurants very close by. Nathan Outlaw's restaurants are just up the hill. The Fisherman's Friends sometimes sing in the harbour on summer Fridays.
The South West Coast Path runs right past the village. From there you can walk to Port Quin or the other way towards Tregardock. Polzeath beach, which is good for surfing, is about a ten minute drive. Padstow is maybe twenty minutes by car. Further up the coast, Boscastle and Tintagel are within half an hour. The Eden Project is about forty minutes inland.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
