Cobblers Cottage

Cobblers Cottage is in Port Isaac, which is a fishing village on the north Cornwall coast. It's a terraced cottage, about a three-minute walk down to the harbour. You get the whole place to yourselves and there's a private parking space right next to it.

Inside, it sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up nicely. The living room window has a good view out over the sea.

You're close to everything here. The local shop and a pub are about 200 yards away. The harbour is where most of the action is. The village is well known now because they film the TV series 'Doc Martin' here.

The South West Coast Path runs right past the village, so you can walk from the doorstep. For beaches with sand, you need to drive a little. There are several within a short drive, like Trebarwith Strand or Polzeath.

Other places to go if you want a day out: Tintagel Castle is about a 15-minute drive north. Boscastle is similar. Bodmin Moor is inland, maybe a 20 to 30-minute drive for a proper walk.

Facilities in the cottage: it's got a woodburner for cooler evenings, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, we don't take pets.

Useful links for planning: National Trust Cornwall for places like Tintagel, and South West Coast Path for walking routes.
