Roosters Perch
Roosters Perch is on our farm, near the village of St Kew. It's an attached barn we converted, so it's one long open plan room downstairs with the bedroom and shower room up a flight of stairs. It's for two people.
The stairs are a typical cottage spiral, so they're a bit tight. The bed is up there too. It's all clean and comfortable, it's got a 4 Star rating. You've got your own little patio out the front with a table. It looks out over the fields.
You can walk to the village in about ten minutes. The St Kew Inn is there, it's a good pub. The coast is about three miles away. Port Isaac is that way, or you can go to Polzeath or Daymer Bay for the sand.
There's plenty to do if you drive. The Camel Trail for cycling is easy to get to. You've got the Eden Project and Lanhydrock both within half an hour. Padstow is about twenty minutes in the car.
On the farm, there's a fishing pond with carp in it. There's also a nature trail through some woodland. You're welcome to walk around the farm tracks, just shut the gates.
Facilities: it's all on one level apart from the bedroom. Wifi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets.
