Moonraker

Moonraker is a bungalow just outside Port Isaac. It's detached. You can park two cars on the drive.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything is on one level, which is good for access. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The garden is a good size, with a lawn and a summer house. You can see a sliver of the sea from there. The barbecue is out there too.

Port Isaac village centre is about a ten minute walk downhill. It's a proper old fishing village, very narrow streets. The harbour is nice. They film Doc Martin there. The Fisherman's Friends sing on the harbour sometimes in summer. There's a shop about 50 yards away, and a couple of pubs and restaurants within a few minutes' walk.

The coast path is right there. The walk towards Polzeath is good. Polzeath beach is about five minutes' drive and is popular for surfing. You can get a ferry from Rock over to Padstow, which is about a twenty minute drive away. The South West Coast Path website has all the walking routes.

If you want to go further, Tintagel Castle is about twenty minutes north. The English Heritage site has the details. Bodmin Moor is inland, maybe half an hour.

Inside, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. No pets.
