Hillside
Hillside is in Port Isaac, up near the top of the village. It's a detached house set over three floors, so there are steps and stairs. It sleeps nine people.
It's got four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen is nice, it was built by a local chap. There's a big table in there. The living room has a woodburner. Downstairs there's a separate room with a PlayStation and some board games, which is handy if you've got kids with you.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included.
It's about 200 yards to the harbour and the shops. There are a few pubs and places to eat down there. The coastal path runs very close by. You can walk north towards Tintagel or south towards Polzeath, which has a good surfing beach. The nearest beach is about a ten minute walk.
Rock is about five miles away if you're into sailing or watersports. From there you can get the ferry over to Padstow. The Camel Trail is good for a flat walk or a bike ride, it follows the old railway line to Wadebridge.
For a day out further afield, The Eden Project is about 40 minutes by car. Newquay and its zoo are about half an hour away. There are lots of National Trust places nearby as well.
