This is Hillside, in Port Isaac. It's a detached house right in the middle of the village, about 200 yards from the harbour.
It sleeps nine people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The house is on three floors. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow in places, which is common for an old cottage like this. There's no toilet on the ground floor.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
Inside, the kitchen is nice. It's hand-built with a dresser and a big dining table. There's a living room with a woodburner. Upstairs there's a separate room with a PlayStation and some board games, which is handy if the weather turns.
You're a few minutes' walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants here. The beach is about 500 yards away. The coastal path runs close by. The views from there out to sea are very good. You can walk north towards Tintagel or south to Polzeath, which has a surfing beach.
Rock is about five miles away. You can do watersports there or walk the Camel Trail. The ferry from Rock goes over to Padstow.
Within about half an hour's drive you can get to places like the Eden Project, Newquay for the zoo and aquarium, or Tintagel Castle. There are a lot of National Trust places nearby too.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, a cot and a highchair. Bedding and towels are included.
