Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is one of five cottages on our farm. The farm is big, about 160 acres. We have cows, sheep, and crops. The cottage looks out over fields.
It sleeps five across two bedrooms. One bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. That basically means it’s comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage is on the ground floor. The doorways are wide and there’s no step up into it, so it’s suitable if mobility is an issue.
You’ve got a patio with a table and chairs. It’s a nice spot. Parking is right outside.
Inside it’s open plan, so the kitchen, dining, and living area are all one room. There’s a TV and WiFi. Washing machine, cot, highchair are all there if you need them. Bedding is included.
The farm is quiet. From the top of the lane you can see the sea on a clear day.
The nearest pub is about a mile and three quarters away. Shop is two and a half miles.
For beaches, Polzeath is about fifteen minutes by car. It’s a good surfing beach. Port Quin is very pretty, about the same distance. Padstow, Rock, Tintagel, and Boscastle are all within a half hour drive.
