Swallows Nest is one of five cottages here at Trentinney Farm. The farm is about 158 acres. It’s mixed, so there are crops, cattle, and some sheep. It’s quiet.
The cottage sleeps five. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The main living space is open plan. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
It’s a traditional stone barn, a listed building. The stone is local and the slates are from Delabole quarry. Some buildings here date to the 16th century. The history of the place goes back much further, but that’s a story for another time.
You have a patio garden to yourselves. There’s a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
The location is good for the coast. Polzeath beach is about four miles away. Port Quin, Padstow, Rock, and Tintagel are all within a short drive. There’s a shop and a restaurant two and a half miles away. The nearest pub is under two miles.
