The Shooting Lodge is on our farm in Washaway. It's an old barn we converted. It's big, sleeps sixteen, and is detached. You get your own garden and parking.
There are eight bedrooms. They all have their own bathroom, which is handy with a lot of people. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
We're a working farm. It's 850 acres of arable land and pheasant shooting. It's peaceful here. You can see the grain silos from the house. They're about eight yards from the back.
Inside, there are two sitting rooms and a games room with a pool table and an open fire. The garden has a play area for children. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're interested, we can arrange clay pigeon shooting on the estate. There's also fishing available on site.
The farm is in the Camel Valley. Bodmin Moor is close if you like walking. Wadebridge is four miles away for shops, a sports centre and a swimming pool. The nearest pub is about three miles. A shop is a mile and a half.
For days out, you're in a good spot. Port Isaac, Boscastle, and Padstow are all about a thirty minute drive north. To the south, Fowey, Looe, and Polperro are within half an hour or so. All are proper Cornish harbour places.
For history, you've got Tintagel Castle and the National Trust's Lanhydrock House nearby. The National Trust Cornwall page has more ideas.
The facilities are all listed. It has most things you'd need: wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included.
