Ladyvale Barn

Ladyvale Barn is on Bunny's Hill in Cornwall. It's detached, next to our driveway. You get the whole place and the small patio to yourselves. It was a log store, so it's a good size for two people but it's not huge.

It's a 5 Star place. That mostly means it's very clean, everything works, and it's been finished to a high standard. There's oak flooring and underfloor heating, which is great when it's cold.

The layout is straightforward. The bedroom and a walk-in wet room shower are on the ground floor. The bedroom has a stable door that opens onto the patio. Upstairs is all one open space: kitchen, dining area and living area. The view from there looks out over the river and woods.

It's a very quiet, rural spot. The nearest shop is about six miles away, and the closest pub is five miles. You'll probably want a car.

You can walk straight from the cottage along the lane into Cardinham Woods. It's a big forest with walks and cycle trails. There's a café in the woods too. The ancient clapper bridge it's named after is just a short walk away.

For a day out, the coast is about thirteen miles. Padstow and Polzeath are within half an hour's drive. The Eden Project is also about thirty minutes away.

Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
