Gwel An Koos
This is Gwel An Koos. It's our chalet in Cardinham, just outside Bodmin. It's a modern, single-level place, so everything's on one floor.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One room's a double, the other has two singles that can zip together into a king if you prefer. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped, just not huge. It's bright and clean inside.
Outside, there's a deck by the front door and your own private garden. It looks out over fields. Good spot for a drink in the evening.
We take one well-behaved dog. Cardinham Woods is on your doorstep, literally. It's proper woodland walking, great for dogs and kids. There are mountain bike trails too if that's your thing.
You're half a mile from the A30. That gets you anywhere in Cornwall quite quickly. The north coast beaches, like Polzeath or Watergate Bay, are about a 25 minute drive. Padstow is about half an hour. Bodmin itself has the steam railway and the jail if you need a wet weather plan.
For facilities: everything's included. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking for one car right outside.
