This is The Old Chapel up in Washaway. It's on its own, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall. It was a chapel a long time ago. You can see the beams.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and there's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The rating is 4 Star.
The main thing is the space around it. It's up on a hill in the Camel Valley and you've got views over the woods. There are 15 acres here that come with it, with an orchard and woods you can walk through down to a stream. It's very quiet.
The garden is yours to use. There's a patio bit with a table and a BBQ. Parking is right there. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair.
You're about two miles from the nearest pub, and four miles from shops in Wadebridge. The coast at Polzeath or Rock is about a twenty minute drive.
For getting out, the Camel Trail is just down the lane, maybe 200 yards. You can walk or cycle it. It goes one way towards Padstow and the other way towards Bodmin Moor. We've got a locked bike store you can use.
If you want to explore, the National Trust has a lot of coastal places nearby. For walking routes and general information, Cornwall Council's outdoors site is useful.
No pets, I'm afraid.
