Lower Colvannick is a farmhouse on the edge of Bodmin Moor, near a little hamlet called Millpool. It's detached and part of a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle in the fields. You get buzzards overhead. A private path with some stone steps leads directly from the garden onto the moor.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One double has an en-suite. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept. The kitchen is big and has everything you need. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The stairs are normal house stairs. There's a sun room you come through first, which leads to a utility room with an old stone fireplace. The garden is a decent size.
You're about half an hour's drive from the north coast. Padstow is 30 minutes, Newquay about 35. For a day out, the English Heritage site at Tintagel is a 40-minute drive. The Eden Project is around 40 minutes too.
For walks, you're right on Bodmin Moor. The Cardinham Woods are very close. The south coast, like Fowey or Polperro, is also within about 40 minutes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, cot, bedding and towels are included, and bike storage. There's parking for several cars. No pets, because of the farm.
