Old Barn Cottage

Old Barn Cottage is in St Breward, right on the edge of Bodmin Moor. It's one of four cottages here on the old farm. It's all on one floor, which makes it easier if you have mobility issues or just don't like stairs.

It sleeps four. There's a double bedroom, and the other bedroom has a captain's bed with a pull-out single underneath. It's fine for two adults, or kids. There's one bathroom.

The living area is open plan. It's got a TV, WiFi, a washer dryer, and the kitchen bits you'd expect. It's clean and comfortable. The rating is 4 Star.

Outside, you have your own enclosed courtyard garden with a barbecue. You look straight out onto the moor. The property has its own gate onto the moorland, which is very handy for dog walks. There are ponies and sheep grazing up there.

You can bring up to two dogs. There are some animals on site, like miniature pigs and chickens, so you need to keep dogs under control.

The village pub is about a ten minute walk. It's an 11th century place and does food.

For getting out, the Camel Trail for cycling is close by. Port Isaac is about a 20 minute drive. Padstow is about 25 minutes. Both are proper old fishing harbours. The north Cornish coast, like Tintagel or Polzeath, is within half an hour.

In terms of facilities, it's all as listed. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
