Valley Truckle Bungalow

Valley Truckle Bungalow is in Camelford, Cornwall. It's on the edge of a caravan park site, but it's detached and has its own garden. The garden is private and has a picnic bench.

It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level which is handy. It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. Two have kingsize beds, one has twin beds, and one has a bunk bed. There are two bathrooms, one is an ensuite shower room off the main bedroom.

The living room has a sofa and a TV with an electric stove for background heat. The kitchen is open to the dining area. It's got what you need, including a dishwasher.

It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean, comfortable, and practical, not luxurious. The parking is right outside.

You can bring one dog.

The local pub is about a mile's walk. A shop is closer, about three quarters of a mile.

For the coast, Tintagel is four miles away. The castle ruins are there, managed by English Heritage. The proper fishing villages like Port Isaac, Boscastle, and Padstow are a short drive. Padstow is about twenty minutes.

The South West Coast Path runs right along here. The section near Boscastle and Tintagel is very dramatic. If you prefer cycling, the Camel Trail starts at Padstow and goes inland.

Inland, Bodmin Moor is right there. It's wild walking country with granite tors. The Bodmin & Wenford Railway is a steam train that runs nearby.
