Valley Truckle Bungalow is a detached bungalow near Camelford. It's on the edge of a caravan club site, so it's got a bit of a view over fields. It's private though, you wouldn't know you were near a site from the garden.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. Two have king size beds, one of those has an en-suite shower. There's a twin room and a bunk room too. Two bathrooms total. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. Everything works.
The garden is quiet, with a couple of picnic benches. Good for a drink outside.
Tintagel is about four miles away. You can walk up to the castle ruins there. The coast path is right there and it's properly dramatic along that stretch. Padstow, Boscastle, and Port Isaac are all within about half an hour's drive. Port Isaac is where they filmed Doc Martin.
Inland, Bodmin Moor is close. Good for walking if you want a change from the coast. The Camel Trail for cycling is easy to get to from Wadebridge.
There's a shop about three quarters of a mile away. A pub and a restaurant are a mile.
It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
