Island View
Island View is a bungalow in Tintagel. It's semi-detached. You get a good view of the castle and the island from here.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own shower rooms, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating. Everything is modern and works as it should.
The layout is open plan for the living and dining area. There's a conservatory on the west side. It catches the evening sun. The garden is a good size, mainly lawn, with a patio. You can see the island from there.
Tintagel village is a short, level walk away. There are a few pubs, cafes, and tourist shops. The main thing is the castle. It's managed by English Heritage. The views are spectacular. The coast path is right there, very rugged.
For beaches, Bossiney Cove is about two miles. It's a small, sandy beach. Trebarwith Strand is about four miles, good for surfing at low tide.
Boscastle is ten minutes north by car. It's a picturesque harbour. The National Trust has a visitor centre there. Bodmin Moor is about half an hour's drive if you fancy a change from the coast.
Facilities: parking for two cars on the drive. Enclosed garden. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Cot and highchair available. No pets, sorry.
