Boscastle itself is a five minute walk. There's a harbour, some shops, and a pub. The National Trust looks after most of the harbour area.
You can get onto the coast path from the village. The walking is good. Tintagel is about four miles down the coast if you want to see the castle. Padstow is roughly half an hour's drive for the estuary and more shops.
The facilities list covers most of it. No pets. The WiFi works.
