Ivy Cottage is on the edge of Boscastle village. It's end of a terrace of three cottages, stone-built like most things round here.
It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been refurbished to a good standard and should have everything you need.
It's about a five minute walk down into the harbour area. The path back up is a bit steep, that's just Boscastle for you.
The main thing about the cottage is the view from the back. You've got a sun room with a big window, a deck, and a garden that looks out over the Jordan Valley. It's very green. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs. There's a dog bed in the sun room.
You're straight onto the coast path from here. A few hundred yards and you're on the cliffs. The village has a few shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and a post office.
Tintagel and the English Heritage site for King Arthur's Castle are about ten minutes' drive north. English Heritage Tintagel Castle. For a bigger day out, Padstow is about half an hour south. Wadebridge and the start of the Camel Trail are similar. Bodmin Moor is inland, maybe 20 minutes.
The cottage has parking on site. There's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, and an electric vehicle charger. WiFi, TV, cot and highchair are all there. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
