Culvada

Culvada is one of three cottages up on the cliffs here, near Trebarwith Strand. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the fields. It's quiet. You get a good view of the sea from the garden.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The floors are slate, which is lovely and cool in summer. The ceilings are beamed. There's a big old fireplace in the living room, which is original. The Wi-Fi is okay, but it's a farm, so don't expect anything super fast.

You've got your own enclosed patio garden with the cottage. Parking is right outside.

Trebarwith Strand beach is down the hill. It's a proper sandy beach when the tide's out, good for surf. The coastal path runs right past, so you can walk from the door. The nearest shop is about a mile and a half away in Delabole. There's a local pub walkable down the lane.

You can drive to Polzeath or Rock in about ten minutes. Tintagel and Boscastle are close too, maybe fifteen minutes by car. The Tintagel Castle site is English Heritage. Further afield, the Eden Project is about forty-five minutes away.

Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.

For planning walks, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful, as is the Cornwall AONB page.
