Driftwood is in Port Isaac. It's a modern detached house, not far from the harbour. You can walk down to the old part in a few minutes.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are five bathrooms, which makes things a lot easier with a full house. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main living room is at the front. There's a smaller snug at the back with doors out to the garden. The kitchen is big, with an island and a table. It's all on one level, which is good for access. There's a utility room that leads into a locked garage. You can put bikes or surfboards in there.
The garden is just a patio area. It's enclosed.
The harbour is the main thing. The streets are narrow and it's very picturesque. You'll see people taking pictures outside the Doc Martin house. The beach is shingle, about a quarter of a mile away. There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants within a few minutes' walk.
For a sandy beach, you'd drive. Polzeath is about ten minutes away by car and is good for surfing. Rock is a similar distance, and you can get the ferry over to Padstow from there. The Camel Estuary trail is good for walking or cycling.
Within half an hour you can get to Tintagel Castle, which is run by English Heritage. The National Trust has a lot of coastal spots nearby too, like Trevose Head.
Included in the house: all bedding and towels, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, a cot and highchair. There's parking on the drive. No pets, I'm afraid.
