This is Mainbrace, in Port Isaac. It's an apartment, on two floors, right in the middle of the village. You'll probably hear seagulls. The parking spot is off the lane behind the building, which is very handy because parking in Port Isaac is a nightmare.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is useful. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. Modern decor.
The living room looks out over the harbour. You can see the water from the sofa. The bedrooms look the other way, out towards the coast. It's an open plan kitchen and living area. There's a woodburner for colder evenings.
You're about thirty seconds walk from the harbour itself. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants a few hundred yards away. The South West Coast Path goes right past, so you can walk out of the door and be on it.
Port Isaac is a working fishing harbour. It's where they filmed a lot of Doc Martin. It's busy in summer, quieter in winter. The nearest sandy beach is at Port Gaverne, which is just around the headland, maybe a ten minute walk.
If you drive, Padstow is about twenty minutes. Boscastle and Tintagel are maybe twenty five minutes north. The Eden Project is around forty minutes. Bodmin Moor is about half an hour if you want something completely different. Newquay is about forty minutes for surfing.
It has pretty much everything: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate if you need it. No pets, I'm afraid.
For planning days out, the main sites people use are National Trust Cornwall and South West Coast Path.
