Mainbrace
Alright, so Mainbrace. It's a flat, not a house, on two floors. One of the ones up the hill above the harbour in Port Isaac.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's useful. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up well, it's comfortable and clean.
The main thing is the view. From the living room you look right down over the harbour. From the bedrooms you look out the other way, towards the coast. Both are good.
You're right up there, so the walk back from the village is up a steep hill. The South West Coast Path is literally a few steps from the door if you want to walk it off.
Port Isaac itself is just down the hill. Few hundred yards. It's a proper fishing harbour. Shops, pubs, places to eat. It's where they film Doc Martin if that matters to you.
Within half an hour's drive you've got a lot. Padstow is that way, Boscastle and Tintagel up the other. Plenty of beaches around. Newquay for surf if you want it. Further afield, the Eden Project and Bodmin Moor are easy to get to.
Facilities: it's got pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. Parking is on site, which is vital here. There's a stairgate if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
