Sea Thrift is a bungalow in Port Isaac. It's at the top of the hill, so you're looking down at the village and the harbour. It's a quiet spot but you can walk down to the centre in about five minutes. The walk back up is a proper hill, so you should know that.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. There's a decent bit of garden, fenced all around, with a patio area and a BBQ.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's well laid out. You have everything you need.
Port Isaac is a proper Cornish fishing village. It's where they filmed Doc Martin. It's busy in summer but lovely out of season. Good pubs. The harbour is very pretty.
You can walk the coastal path from here. The National Trust looks after a lot of it. Padstow is about a 20 minute drive, Rock is a bit closer. Wadebridge, Bodmin, they're all inland along the Camel Trail if you want to cycle.
For beaches, Polzeath is nearby for surfing. Daymer Bay is good for families. Watergate Bay and Newquay are within half an hour if you want bigger surf beaches or the zoo.
Facilities wise: the bungalow has parking for one car. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. No pets.
