Bosun's
Bosun's is a little detached cottage in Port Isaac. It's on a quiet lane behind our house. It's all on one floor, so no stairs at all. Sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage is about a ten-minute walk down to the harbour. The lanes are narrow and steep, that's just how it is here. The beach is shingle and the fishermen still use it. You can get a pasty or an ice cream down there. The local pub, The Golden Lion, does food and looks over the water.
If you like walking, the South West Coast Path goes right past. The views are huge. You can walk west to Port Gaverne, or east towards Tintagel if you're feeling energetic. For a drive, Tintagel Castle is about twenty minutes away. Padstow is maybe twenty-five minutes. Polzeath beach, which is good for surfing, is about fifteen minutes by car.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen area with a dishwasher and washing machine. TV and WiFi are there. Outside, there's a small patio with a table and a BBQ. You can park right outside.
Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in the bedroom if you need one. No pets, sorry.
