This is Owls Park. It's in Trelights, which is a quiet little hamlet inland from Port Isaac. You can walk to the coast from here if you don't mind a bit of a hill, but it's easier to drive. Takes about five minutes.
It's detached, so you're on your own, though our house is right next door. We're around if you need anything, but we leave you to it. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, clean and modern. The garden is enclosed with a patio area and a barbecue.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV and WiFi. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them, and a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs. The stairs are fine, just a normal flight.
The local pub is about half a mile down the lane. It does food. The nearest proper shop is in Port Isaac, about three miles. Port Isaac has a few shops, pubs and restaurants right on the harbour. It's the one you've probably seen on the telly.
You're in a good spot for the coast. Boscastle is about ten minutes by car north, Tintagel with the castle is maybe fifteen. The English Heritage site for Tintagel Castle has all the booking info if you want to go. South of here, you've got places like Watergate Bay and Newquay within half an hour. For walking, the South West Coast Path is all along this stretch.
The Camel Trail for cycling is nearby too. You can pick it up at Wadebridge and cycle towards Padstow or Bodmin. It's mostly flat, which is good.
For planning days out, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful, and so is Visit Cornwall.
No pets, sorry. Parking for two cars on the gravel drive.
