This is Drovers, in Tresinney. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one floor. That makes it pretty straightforward for getting around. The property is next to Trethin Manor, a 13th century place, which is quite something to have as a neighbour. You're in a little group of a few cottages, but it feels private.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a walk-in shower, which is useful. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
The best bit is probably the garden. It's south facing. There's a patio and a lawn, and then it slopes down into a big wild flower meadow, over an acre of it. There are ponds and streams down there. It's very quiet.
You can walk straight out from the cottage onto footpaths that go up onto Bodmin Moor. Roughtor is right there. For the coast, you're about twenty minutes drive from lots of spots. Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Padstow. All those rocky coves and coastal paths are within half an hour.
There's a golf club at Bowood Park nearby if that's your thing. Camelford has shops, about a mile and a half away. The Eden Project is about a thirty minute drive.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. Plenty of parking. There's a games room on site too, which is handy if the weather turns. No pets, sorry.
