This is Drovers, a bungalow in Tresinney, Cornwall. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. It sleeps six people in three bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. Everything's on one level, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating.
The place is next to Trethin Manor, which is an old house from the 1200s. You're sharing the grounds with a few other cottages, but it feels very quiet. Your garden is south-facing, with a patio and lawn. Beyond that, there's a big wild flower meadow with ponds and streams. You can just walk into it.
Footpaths lead straight from the property onto Bodmin Moor. You can walk up to Roughtor from here. The coast isn't far either. You can get to beaches and do coastal walks within about half an hour's drive.
In terms of places to go, Camelford is the nearest for shops, about a mile and a half. Port Isaac is close, that's where they film Doc Martin. Tintagel Castle and Boscastle are along the coast. Padstow is about a 25-minute drive. The Eden Project is roughly 40 minutes away. There's a golf club at Bowood Park, which is five minutes up the road.
Inside, it's straightforward. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. The showers are walk-in. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. All the bedding is included. Sorry, no pets.
