This is Hindscarth Apartment. It's in Tremail, which is a hamlet just north of Bodmin Moor. It’s a first-floor apartment above the garage at the main house, so you’re up a flight of external stairs. You get the place to yourselves, and the views from the deck are over fields. It’s very quiet.
It’s for four people. There’s one proper bedroom with a kingsize bed. The other double is a sofa bed in the living room. It’s a leather chesterfield and it’s comfortable, but it is a sofa bed. There’s one bathroom with a good shower. The kitchen has what you need. The WiFi is fast fibre.
Outside, there’s a deck with a table and a BBQ. You can park two cars on the driveway.
The National Cycle Route 3 runs right past the gate. Bodmin Moor is half a mile up the lane for walking. Jamaica Inn is about two miles away.
For the coast, Boscastle is about 15 minutes’ drive. Port Isaac is about 25 minutes. Padstow is about half an hour. Tintagel is 20 minutes away. The castle there is run by English Heritage. A lot of the coastline here is looked after by the National Trust, so the walking is excellent.
Further south, the Eden Project is about a 40 minute drive. Bude is about half an hour north.
It’s a 4 Star place. That means it’s well-equipped and clean. You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
