Proper Job
Proper Job is a converted barn on a farm in Tresmeer. It's not a village proper, more a few houses and a church. You're in the countryside.
The barn sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which is high. It's well done and comfortable. Underfloor heating downstairs. The ceiling is high with beams. You get your own patio and share a big garden area.
There's an 18ft circular swimming pool in the garden, above-ground. It's shared with the other three barns here. There's also a half-acre games field. Indoors, there's a 42-inch TV, games, puzzles, and a selection of books and DVDs.
The farm is a working farm. Lambing happens here from January through to early April if that's of interest.
You're about six miles from Launceston. It's got shops and places to eat. The north coast, places like Boscastle and Tintagel, is about a ten-mile drive. Good for the coast path.
For days out, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within half an hour.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
