Tregullan Cottage
Right, Tregullan Cottage. It's in Boscastle, right in the middle of it. It used to be the stables for the Wellington Hotel, and it was artist Kurt Jackson's studio for a bit as well. It's semi-detached.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. There's an open fire, which is nice in the colder months. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog.
You're about a hundred metres from the harbour. So the coastal path, the shops, and the pubs are all on your doorstep. You don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want to.
The stairs are fine, but they're old cottage stairs. They've got a stairgate fitted.
It's a good base for this bit of the coast. Tintagel is about ten minutes by car. Port Isaac is maybe twenty. The Eden Project is half an hour. There are good beaches like Trebarwith Strand not far away. You've got Crackington Haven a bit further up the coast.
Facilities: it's got pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
