The Hayloft
The Hayloft is in Boscastle, up the hill from the harbour. It's an end-terraced place. It was refurbished a few years ago, so it's in good order. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is en-suite. There's a wood burner in the living room. It works well.
You can bring one dog. There's a patio area out the back. Parking is on site.
It's about a ten minute walk down the hill into the village centre. The path back up is steep. The harbour is good for a wander. There are a couple of pubs that do food, and a shop. The coastal path is right there if you want to walk it.
For a beach, Trebarwith Strand is about a ten minute drive. It's sandy but the tide comes right in. Polzeath, for surfing, is about twenty minutes. Padstow is half an hour, but it gets busy. Port Isaac, where they filmed Doc Martin, is about fifteen minutes down the coast.
Tintagel Castle is very close, maybe five minutes by car. It's run by English Heritage. The Eden Project is about forty minutes away. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ for the patio.
