Primrose Cottage is in Camelford, near the north Cornwall coast. It's one of five cottages on a site called Juliots Well. They're all looked after pretty well.
It's a two-storey place, sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. One bathroom. The stairs are fine. Downstairs is all open-plan, with a wood burner in the living area. It's cosy when that's going. The kitchen is modern enough, it's got what you need. You get your own enclosed patio garden out the back.
The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and clean, not palatial.
You're allowed two pets. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. There's WiFi and a washing machine.
The site has a gym and swimming pool you can pay to use, if that's your thing. The Bowood Park Golf Club is right next door, about 200 yards away. They're fine with non-members using the bar and restaurant there.
Location wise, you're a few miles from the coast. Port Isaac, Tintagel, and Boscastle are all within a 15-20 minute drive. The coastline there is spectacular. Good for walking. You can get down to the South West Coast Path easily.
If you're planning days out, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast around here. Their site is useful: National Trust Cornwall. For walking and general park information, Cornwall National Landscape has good maps.
