This is Home Park Farm Cottage B, near Helstone in Cornwall. It's one of a pair we built ourselves. It's semi-detached, but you've got your own enclosed garden with a patio. The view is just fields.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. There are TVs in all the bedrooms, and the floors and a lot of the furniture are oak. It feels modern but in a cottage setting.
The layout is open plan downstairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can park right outside.
We allow up to three dogs. The garden is fully enclosed, so that's sorted.
For shops and a few pubs, Camelford is about two miles away. There's a pub about a mile and a half walk down the lane.
You're well placed here. The north coast is only a few miles. You can be at Tintagel Castle in under ten minutes by car. Port Isaac, where they film Doc Martin, is about twenty minutes. Bude is maybe half an hour. If you head inland, Bodmin Moor starts just south of Camelford.
For bigger days out, Padstow, Newquay, and The Eden Project are all within a thirty minute drive. The National Trust at Tintagel is a good starting point for history, and Visit Cornwall has general information.
